Basix Reports
AIS certifiers are capable of completing BASIX reports for your residential building proposals. If you supply AIS with a copy of your plans we will carry out the report and send it back for you for lodgement with your DA or CDC.
BASIX stands for Building Sustainability Index and aims at reducing power and water consumption in the home.
NSW Development law requires a Basix Certificate to be submitted with any of the following
- New Dwellings including single dwelling, dual occupancy, town house etc
- Alterations & additions to a dwelling valued over $50,000
- Pools over 40,000L
You can carry out the BASIX assessment yourself, though using an experienced building professional may save you thousands through promotion of solar passive design
We require a copy of your constructions plans and will provide you with a fee proposal and time frame.
We are experienced assessors and will provide you with an efficient and cost effective assessment.
