Swimming Pool Compliance Certificates
AIS certifiers are accredited under the Builders Professionals Act and registered with the NSW Swimming Pool Register to issue swimming pool compliance certificates. The need for a swimming pool compliance certificate is a legal requirement in selling or leasing a property with a swimming pool, or just for peace of mind. AIS certifiers are able to carry out an inspection and provide advice where needed to ensure the swimming pool barrier is compliant with the requirements of the Australian Standards, and to provide a safe barrier for you and your family.
For your convenience, the swimming pool register website features a self-assessment checklist for the homeowner, which you can view here.
- YOU provide us with a completed pool compliance application form, and evidence of the registration of the swimming pool, which can be done here
- WE carry out an inspection of the swimming pool barrier to ensure compliance with the applicable Australian standard that was enforced at the time of construction of the barrier
- WE notify you of the outcome of the inspection and as to whether any rectification works are to be carried out, if not we will issue a Certificate of Compliance and register it through the swimming pool register
